Introducing... Denise
I believe learning begins at birth and is an ongoing experience. We all need to experience as much of life as we can to develop to our fullest potential. Young children are vulnerable and trusting; I believe we need to ensure that our future generation have the opoportunity to know right from wrong, develop a good self-esteem; are praised for good behaviour and achievements and are not excluded because of race, creed, gender or disability. Each child is a unique individual and deserves the right to live and learn in a safe, secure and stable environment. I find it fulfilling being with children, watching them develop, grow and learn through each new challenge they meet; learning is lifelong. I am a positive role model and I recognise the value of sharing my knowledge with children, parents, students and colleagues as we work as a team to support your child on their journey while they are at the Kiwi Centre. I value the importance of the extended family/community and the influences they have on today's families.
Tui Centre Goals We have chosen four goals from Te Whariki to focus on for each child to help them prepare for their next stage of learning; when they turn 4.
